Candidate Search 2010
Pinnacle Event Center
Denver, CO

Candidate Search 2010  held on Sunday, February 21, 2010 was  a success as attested by candidates and attendees.  The forum was attended by 400-500  people and was hosted by ROAR, Broomfield 9.12, and Denver 9.12.   Forum participants included candidates for the following offices:

                                                    -U.S. Congress in District 7
                                                    -U.S. Congress in District 2
                                                    -U.S. Senate
                                                    -Colorado Governor

Moderators of the forum were  Jon Caldara and Krista Kafer.  This was an opportunity for voters to see all these candidates at one time and to be able to measure their responses to the same question; overall the event was about the voters getting to know the candidates.  The forum was live streamed on the web by People's Press Collective.  Our gratitude to Michael Sandoval, Joe Weaver,  and T. L. James for providing us with technical support.   Thank you to Amanda Teresi of Liberty On The Rocks who also assisted in the video and webcasting efforts.  A poll was taken after each session to determine audience rating of the candidates.  The votes were submitted by people in the audience as well as those at home watching the live broadcast texting the specified number of the candidate of whom they felt fared best in the forum.  The results of this poll can be found at www.peoplespresscollective.org
